In 1978 John L. Krekling, our dad, formed Krekling Painting & Decorating in his hometown of Racine, Wisconsin. Through the next two decades his once one-person occupation turned into a flourishing business, including many employees across hundreds of customers—from large corporations to residential.
John Sr. passed the business over to his eldest son, also a John, in 1998, who continued his dad’s legacy. Along with his two brothers, Tim and Jim, Krekling Painting’s mission to maintain its work quality and attention to detail remained unwavering. And with good work and customer satisfaction, everything fell into place.
Today the business is ran by Jim Krekling, the youngest brother. After several years of college, Jim joined the family business in 1988, where he’s been ever since.
Our employees are some of the most skilled tradespeople in the area, and are always upgrading their talents with the latest in safety and training courses.
